Purpose of the Role
The Customer Care Representative ensures smooth and efficient customer service operations by proactively managing customer accounts, credit limits, and queries across multiple channels.
This role acts as a vital link between Customers, Logistics, Sales, and Finance, helping to resolve account issues, coordinate delivery timelines, and support administrative processes that drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily customer credit limits and notify customers nearing their limits.
Handle all customer queries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
Liaise with internal teams (Logistics, Sales, and Finance) to resolve account-related issues.
Communicate estimated delivery times (ETAs) to customers.
Manage general account queries and maintain accurate records.
Conduct quarterly customer satisfaction surveys.
Capture and update customer data accurately.
Assist with logistics coordination and other administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (advantageous)
2β3 yearsβ experience in a customer service or sales administration role
Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Module (advantageous)
Knowledge of the cement, manufacturing, or logistics industry (advantageous)
