Minimum Requirements:
✅ Grade 12 completed between 2021 and 2024
✅ Passed Matric with Bachelor’s admission
✅ Matric subject marks:
English: 65% or higher
Mathematics: 50% or higher OR Maths Literacy: 70% or higher
✅ Willing and able to work 24-hour rotating shifts, including overtime and holidays
✅ Must have own transport
✅ Excellent communication skills
✅ Tech-savvy and proficient with computers
✅ Strong multitasking and time management skills
✅ Calm under pressure with quick decision-making abilities
✅ Good attention to detail and organisation
Main Role:
You’ll handle both emergency and non-emergency calls, gathering accurate information and directing them to the correct medical services. You will play a key role in managing critical situations while ensuring callers receive appropriate help fast.
Key Responsibilities:
📞 Answer incoming calls and assess urgency
📍 Accurately record location and nature of the problem
💻 Use dispatch systems and communication tools
✅ Provide excellent service and remain calm and professional
➡️ Route non-emergency calls to the appropriate departments
⚠️ Escalate concerns to supervisors when needed
🌟 Support the contact centre’s mission and values
Additional Notes:
This role requires flexibility and the ability to stay alert during long shifts.
You must be comfortable working in a high-pressure, confined, and fast-paced environment.
