Position: ATM Reconciliation Coordinator Clerk.
Location: Midrand, Gauteng.
Type: Permanent.
Closing Date: 30 September 2025.
Purpose of the Role
To manage and reconcile ATM transactions by ensuring accurate cash orders, daily balancing, problem resolution, and smooth communication between branches, clients, and the National Reconciliations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate and follow up with branches on monthly cash orders, packing schedules, and re-deposits.
Work closely with branches to resolve real-time issues related to orders, transfers, packing, and ATM loads.
Monitor and review daily branch capturing using I-Cash.
Act as a link between clients and branches for daily instructions and issue resolution.
Balance ATM devices daily and update balancing sheets with accurate feedback.
Handle client claims and CPC activations (e.g., stained or damaged notes).
Map and report new ATM rollouts monthly to support cash order planning.
Track reported issues from branches, escalate where needed, and keep logs updated.
Provide occasional training to branch supervisors/Recon Clerks on Capitec ATM processes.
Assist with operational queries and other tasks as required by the National Reconciliations Manager.
Reporting Duties
Submit daily operations reports confirming float returns, balances, orders, counts, and redeposits per branch.
Monitor and report daily on monthly cash order confirmations, highlighting shortages or discrepancies.
Log and report technical issues, shortages, and surpluses.
Submit all branch reconciliations and float certificates to Capitec daily.
Requirements
Solid understanding of reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong administrative discipline and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience coordinating and supporting branch supervisors.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
