About the Role
Ampath Laboratories is looking for a reliable and responsible Courier to join the Central BU Transport team. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of medical specimens, reports, and parcels using a vehicle or motorbike. Your work will play a key part in supporting patient care and maintaining operational efficiency across our laboratories and partner facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and deliver medical specimens, parcels, and documentation between various sites.
Ensure all items are handled safely, securely, and delivered on time.
Maintain high levels of professionalism and represent Ampath positively during all interactions.
Adhere to road safety regulations and company transport procedures.
Support operational excellence by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric).
Valid South African driver’s license (Code B).
At least 1 year of general driving experience.
Strong communication skills (fluent in English – read, write, and speak).
Good understanding of punctuality, safety, and professionalism while on duty.
Work Conditions
Hours: 42 hours per week
Work Schedule: 7-day work week (Night Shift)
Location: Soweto – Lenasia
