Job Summary
Ster-Kinekor Theatres is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Employee to join the Brooklyn cinema team. The successful candidate will assist in various cinema functions, including cashier duties, food and beverage sales, and general cinema operations, while ensuring a world-class guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform multiple cinema functions such as cashiering, food preparation, ticket collection, and guest assistance.
Stay up to date with all movie listings, promotions, and product offerings to effectively upsell to customers.
Maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards in all areas, including kitchen, counters, and storerooms.
Prepare popcorn, slush, and other products according to quality standards.
Ensure all display materials, posters, and disclaimers are accurate and up to date.
Handle stock, packaging, and storage in line with company and health regulations.
Adhere to all health and safety standards and report any hazards or incidents.
Represent Ster-Kinekor professionally at all times through excellent customer service and personal presentation.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
0–1 year of work experience in a similar environment (retail, hospitality, or customer service)
Basic computer literacy (MS Office); knowledge of VISTA system is an advantage
