Job Summary
Beekman Super Canopies, part of the Motus Group, is seeking a reliable and organized Parts Storeman to manage canopy and component stock efficiently. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate inventory levels, issue parts to the fitment team, and ensure smooth workflow within the workshop.
Main Purpose of the Role
To manage all stock-related activities within the parts store — including receiving, issuing, and counting parts — while supporting workshop operations and maintaining an organized storage environment.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
At least 2 years’ experience in stock control or parts/component store management
Good computer literacy and experience using in-house stock systems (minimum 2 years)
Ability to accurately capture stock on a system
Product knowledge of canopies or related parts (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
Control access to the parts store, allowing entry only to authorized staff.
Receive, bin, and process stock deliveries accurately using Syspro.
Conduct regular and accurate stock counts, maintaining detailed records.
Monitor fast-moving items and consumables; place weekly stock orders as needed.
Issue parts to the fitment team based on valid documentation (invoices or request notes).
Take accountability for stock integrity, including reporting discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the parts store.
Collaborate with workshop and management teams to ensure efficient operations.
Assist with administrative or workshop support duties when required.
