About the Role
Clicks Centurion Distribution Centre is looking for two Dispatch Checkers (one for day shift and one for night shift). In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operational activities in a fast-paced warehouse environment and ensuring all key performance targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up on overdue items reflected on the “Goods in Transit” report.
Make sure all stores correctly follow the process for capturing receipts.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in dispatch operations.
Assist the Admin department with daily administrative duties.
Required Knowledge
Advantageous: Basic understanding of Goods in Transit (GIT) processes in a warehouse.
Advantageous: General knowledge of materials handling.
Required Skills
Essential numeracy and literacy skills.
Strong communication abilities (written and verbal).
Good problem-solving abilities.
Conflict management and resolution skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Basic computer skills, especially MS Office.
Advantageous: Planning and organising abilities.
Experience Needed
General warehouse experience.
Previous dispatch experience is an advantage.
Education
Matric (Grade 12) is required.
