About the Role

Clicks Centurion Distribution Centre is looking for six highly organised, detail-driven Dispatch Clerks — three for day shift and three for night shift. These clerks will support dispatch and delivery operations with responsibilities including GIT monitoring, FarEye compliance, local and cross-border documentation, scanner control, and managing failed deliveries. Each clerk will have specific focus areas but may rotate as needed.


Key Responsibilities

Track and manage GITs (6300, 2500, 2600, 2700, 1300 & 1400).

Follow up on overdue or unrecorded GITs and escalate when necessary.

Monitor GIT progress throughout the day using FarEye.

Ensure stores correctly capture deliveries in FarEye.

Manage scanner allocation: charging, tracking, and returns.

Check scanning accuracy and print store documents for CAP handover (10:00–15:00 and 19:00–23:00).

Complete green log sheets for all local stores.

Double-check CAP scanning and paperwork for all stores picked, including second trips and cross-docks.

Work with scanner teams and consolidators until all local store tasks are done.

Verify trucks on FarEye and monitor routing compliance using the live tracker.

Perform hourly shunter report checks.

Update TradeCloud cross-border documents daily (Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini).

Complete night handover to CAP.

Conduct 5 quality checks (seal-by-seal) per shift.

Update scanner records on Teams and link scanners to trucks per FarEye planning.

Assist with loading stores onto scanners.

Handle final GIT reporting, rollover checks, and RD management.

Process LM exceptions accurately on FarEye.

Identify deliveries not captured and notify the Night Shift Supervisor.

Load stores onto Qwix as required.


Minimum Requirements

Education

Required: Matric / Grade 12

Preferred: Certificate in Logistics, Administration, or Supply Chain

Experience

1–2 years admin experience in a DC, warehouse, or logistics environment

Experience with scanning processes, dispatch documents, GITs, or routing systems

Knowledge of FarEye, WMS, or scanner systems is an advantage
