About the Role:
Intercare is a forward-thinking healthcare provider dedicated to delivering patient-centered, value-driven care. We are currently looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to join our Facilities team.
The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of people and medical items between our facilities while upholding our brand values of People-centredness, Integrity, Inclusivity, Excellence, and Innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport staff, patients, and medical goods safely to assigned destinations.
Keep the company vehicle in clean, working condition and report maintenance issues promptly.
Follow traffic laws and all internal safety regulations during every trip.
Manage time well to meet scheduled pickups and deliveries.
Record trip details, fuel usage, and vehicle upkeep accurately.
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
Provide friendly, professional service in line with Intercare’s mission and values.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with PrDP and a clean driving record.
At least 2 years’ experience in a professional driving role.
Basic understanding of OHS practices (an advantage).
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented attitude.
Must be physically fit—able to lift or load supplies when needed.
Familiarity with local road networks and traffic patterns is beneficial.
