Role Overview
As an Expert Associate Director (EAD) within BCG’s Industrial Goods practice, you will focus on helping clients in the metals and mining sector transform their operations and portfolios. You’ll provide deep industry expertise, lead project teams, develop intellectual capital, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
Your role will combine strategy, leadership, and collaboration—helping drive execution while contributing to BCG’s thought leadership in mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and advise client engagements in the mining sector, focusing on operations improvement and transformation.
Scope, structure, and oversee projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable client impact.
Mentor and guide consulting teams while contributing to BCG’s internal knowledge base and methodologies.
Build a strong network of industry relationships and represent BCG as a thought leader in mining operations.
Contribute to BCG’s intellectual capital, research, and best practice development within the mining domain.
Qualifications & Experience
10–15 years of experience in the mining industry, particularly in operational roles.
In-depth knowledge of mining operations, market dynamics, and global industry trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (advanced degrees advantageous).
Strong project management, leadership, and strategic problem-solving abilities.
Proven stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels.
Experience in consulting or advisory roles preferred (though not mandatory).
