Job Summary

Servest is looking for a Handyman to join its Facilities Management team at the Head Office in Waterfall, Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will assist with maintenance, inspections, and repairs, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager.


Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric

Proven experience as a handyman or in maintenance work

Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems

Physically fit and capable of manual labour

Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

Trade certificate or relevant technical qualification (advantageous)

Technical tertiary qualification (added advantage)


Key Responsibilities

Monitor and assess building and hard services equipment (HVAC, lighting, pumps)

Identify faults and resolve maintenance issues promptly

Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections

Support the Facilities Manager with ad hoc maintenance tasks

Work safely and comply with all company safety standards

Communicate clearly with clients and team members

Complete tasks efficiently and use company time productively
