Role Overview
The External Sales Representative is responsible for representing the company within the building materials market by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role serves as a vital link between the store and its customer base, ensuring excellent service delivery and consistent sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and acquire new customers through cold calling and active business development.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and budgets.
Follow up on customer orders and quotations to ensure timely completion.
Address and resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.
Manage all related sales administration accurately.
Deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Provide expert product advice to customers based on their needs.
Promote and uphold company values by operating with honesty, respect, accountability, resourcefulness, and energy.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 qualification.
At least 5 years’ proven sales experience.
Basic computer literacy.
