Role Overview
Henwil Chickens regularly recruits General Workers for permanent and temporary positions across various departments. This role is flexible and not limited to a specific division. Suitable candidates will be contacted by the HR department when vacancies become available and minimum requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
Work cooperatively with supervisors and fellow employees.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the work environment.
Ensure a safe and compliant workplace at all times.
Provide assistance in different operational areas when required.
Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (recommended).
Reliable transportation.
Hardworking, honest, and self-driven with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Residing in or near Lichtenburg will be an advantage.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, cold, or wet conditions.
Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
