Storeman – BCX
Location: Bloemfontein, Free State.
Department: Field Services | CPS Business Unit.
Reports to: Team Leader.
Position Type: Full Time | Office-Based.
Role Overview
The Storeman is responsible for managing daily inbound and outbound stock and asset movements within the distribution centre. The role ensures that all stock management activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with BCX’s Stock Management Policy, controls, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Execute inbound and outbound stock movements efficiently and in accordance with company policies and control standards.
Process outbound inventory and asset dispatches accurately and on time, including:
Distribution centre stock
Regional and project office replenishments
Supplier dispatches
Internal asset distribution
Technician stock requests
Maintain appropriate inventory levels through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and stock management policies.
Follow all training, procedures, and system guidance provided by Team Leaders.
Identify, report, and escalate unresolved stock or process issues to management when necessary.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
At least 2 years’ experience in a logistics or stock management environment

Medically and physically fit for labour-intensive duties
