💼 Type: Permanent | Entry-Level (but requires 5 years’ experience)
🧰 Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Trade in Fitting and Turning
5+ years experience in a similar role (preferably in the steel industry)
Experience with:
Conventional lathe & turret milling machines
Manual and semi-automated tools
Supervisory or management experience is a strong advantage
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers)
Comfortable working in physically demanding and hazardous environments
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain crusher plant equipment
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Ensure clay bunkers are full (crushed & uncrushed clay)
Comply with safety protocols and internal policies
Order spare parts and liaise with suppliers
Keep detailed maintenance logs
Mentor apprentices
Provide emergency support and be available for overtime/on-call
