Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Security Guard to support and manage daily security operations, ensure safety compliance, and help screen new security staff. The role demands both leadership and hands-on involvement with systems and patrol coordination.
Minimum Requirements:
PSIRA Grade C certification (non-negotiable)
At least 4 years of relevant experience
Familiarity with Ziton systems and general alarm monitoring
Ability to manage and train junior officers
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to perform under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage all security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control
Perform regular patrols, issuing keys, radios, and equipment
Investigate alerts and warnings, ensuring immediate action
Escort visitors, contractors, and clients
Keep detailed records using an electronic occurrence book
Oversee security post assignments and shift planning
Train and guide junior security officers
Ensure all gas and fire detection systems are functioning correctly
Assist in administrative duties, reporting, and scheduling
Support overall risk management and compliance
