Duties:
● Check if trucks are loaded properly to
establish if there are no in-transit damages.
▪︎ Off-load Vehicles and containers in a safe manner.
▪︎ Assist in moving, lifting, Binning and Picking of heavy items.
▪︎ Operate forklift as per training manuals.
▪︎ Do continuous risk assessment before and after every task.
▪︎ Make sure the load is secured before lifting and moving it.
▪︎ Complete forklift checklist before commencement of every shift.
▪︎ Report all faults to the supervisor and Maintenance team.
▪︎ Ensure compliance with housekeeping, health and safety policies and procedures.
▪︎ Report all near misses, incidents, accidents, unsafe conditions and acts as soon as possible.
▪︎ Carry out all reasonable instructions.
▪︎ You may be asked to work overtime.
And ensure any related Ad hoc functions are performed as and when required.
Requirements:
▪︎ Matric and Abet Level 4
▪︎ Must have 1 years’ experience in Warehousing.
▪︎ Applicants must be in possession of a valid forklift license.
▪︎ Must be prepared to work shifts.
▪︎ Be prepared to work after hours and weekends when required.
▪︎ Good communication skills
▪︎ Must be physically fit and able to work under pressure.
