About the Role
Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd (SSK) is seeking a General Assistant to join its Agriland retail store in Hermitage. This role is ideal for a dependable individual who is physically fit and able to perform general operational and housekeeping duties in a retail and agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with operational tasks and physical labour, including lifting heavy items
Support risk management and workplace safety initiatives
Provide basic customer service assistance when required
Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) qualification
Good physical and mental health, with the ability to perform manual labour
Reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions accurately
Strong awareness of safety procedures and safe working practices
Ability to work effectively under challenging conditions
