Job Purpose:
The College is looking to hire a dedicated and reliable General Assistant responsible for ensuring the maintenance and safety of the school grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and window repairs.

Help maintain school buildings, classrooms, and outdoor areas.

Provide emergency repair services as needed.

Regularly inspect the campus for necessary maintenance and repairs.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric certificate.

Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Prior experience in a similar general assistant/maintenance role.

Strong communication and people skills.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and practical with sound problem-solving skills.

Able to work under pressure and outside normal hours when required.

Willing to be actively involved in the school’s wider community and contribute to its values and culture.
