Purpose of the Role
The General Worker (Leave Reliever) is responsible for meeting daily production targets accurately and on time, while maintaining product quality and integrity according to The Premier Way standards.
Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality products within the Production Department.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards.
Follow all company rules, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure efficient use and upkeep of assigned production equipment.
Assist with planned maintenance tasks as required.
Complete all relevant administrative and record-keeping duties.
Uphold food safety, health, and safety requirements at all times.
Stack crates, pick stock, and manage repacking of damaged goods.

Ability to operate and maintain production equipment and scales.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy, especially for batch calculations.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Education: Grade 12 / Matric.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) production environment.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to work in a hot, noisy factory environment with exposure to maize dust.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
Must perform effectively in a pressurised environment.
