A mining/workshop opportunity is available for a General Worker. The position is suited to candidates with Grade 12, knowledge of hand and power tools, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will assist with vehicle checks, workshop housekeeping, routine maintenance and equipment-related tasks while following all applicable safety rules and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12
- Excellent knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to write, understand and communicate in English
- No criminal record
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime and after hours when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- SHE REP certificate will be advantageous
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will assist with:
- Executing daily vehicle checks
- Assisting with daily and after-hours tasks as requested
- Housekeeping in the workshop and at other sites
- Conducting routine maintenance as directed
- Reporting faulty equipment
- Reporting unsafe working conditions
- Changing faulty equipment or parts when requested
- Following all workshop and mine safety rules and procedures
- Supporting the team with general operational duties as required
