Purpose
Performing all general tasks in and around the Container Yard according to the Bidvest Iinternational Logistics’ Standard Operating Procedures (QWI) the successful candidate will be responsible to maintain the yard
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
Grade 12,
2 years experience as a general worker
Experience
Proven work experience in a warehouse or Container yard
Must have the necessary safety training and certificates, and must be safety conscious
Key Responsibilities
Operations:
Clean the container yard, washbay, and
around the Office with the ride-on scrubber and report all non-standard conditions
Daily Inspection – Inspect container stacks for safe and secure stacking.
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge:
Good working knowledge of warehousing principles
Sound knowledge of safe operating procedures of driving and handling MHE
