About the Role
As a Guest Relations Officer, you will be the first point of contact for shoppers, tenants, and visitors at Brooklyn Mall.
Your role is to deliver professional, friendly, and efficient service that enhances the overall shopping experience and supports the Mall’s reputation as a premium retail destination.
Key Requirements
Essential:
Matric (Grade 12).
Previous customer service, hospitality, or front-of-house experience.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Advantageous:
Diploma in Marketing, Hospitality, or Customer Service.
Experience in shopping centre, retail, or hospitality environments.
Main Responsibilities
Customer Service
Welcome and assist visitors with information, directions, and general enquiries.
Handle queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Guide shoppers on store locations, promotions, and services.
Manage lost and found enquiries, liaising with security when needed.
Support gift card sales and related enquiries.
Tenant & Mall Support
Act as a link between tenants and customers.
Monitor mall activities to ensure compliance with guidelines.
Collect customer feedback and support surveys.
Work with security and cleaning teams to maintain mall standards.
Events & Promotions
Assist the Marketing team with events, promotions, and campaigns.
Distribute promotional materials and inform customers of mall activities.
