About the Role
Tsebo Facilities Solutions is hiring a Handyman to deliver effective planned and reactive maintenance services.
The role focuses on maintaining the building, fixtures, and light equipment while ensuring all work complies with safety and operational standards outlined in the Master Service Agreement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
🔧 Operational Maintenance
Perform repair and maintenance tasks (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, painting, welding, general handyman work)
Maintain and fix furniture, fittings, and fixtures
Ensure tools are kept in good condition
Clean work areas and the workshop after tasks
Complete and submit Work Orders to the Electrician
Conduct routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance
Ensure all tasks meet OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) standards
Oversee subcontractors and ensure they follow safety procedures and clean up afterward
📋 Reporting & Documentation
Maintain records of maintenance, warranties, licenses, and reports
Prepare weekly/monthly reports for the Maintenance Supervisor
🙋 Customer Service
Communicate professionally with clients regarding issues and solutions
Address and resolve queries or escalate when necessary
Maintain a client-focused approach and support service excellence

Follow Tsebo’s safety, health, environmental, and quality policies (SHEQ)
Promote ethical behavior and professionalism
Take ownership of performance and adapt to occasional additional tasks
Skills & Experience Required
Knowledge of maintenance tools, machinery, and suppliers
Time management and problem-solving skills
Familiar with plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and building layouts
Ability to manage subcontractors and negotiate where needed
Hands-on experience with common hand and power tools
Strong customer service focus
Minimum Qualifications
Matric (Grade 12)
Technical qualification (NQF Level 4) is a bonus
2–5 years of experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role
