About the Role

Qualified candidates are invited to apply for the position of Parts Counter Salesman.

Key Responsibilities

Sell the full range of BELL parts to both internal departments and external clients

Handle customer queries via phone, email, or in-person

Perform administrative tasks like creating pick lists and quotations

Work towards achieving set sales targets and budgets

Follow up on quotes to encourage and finalize sales

Track and communicate back orders to customers

Address customer and account queries promptly

Keep records and file all relevant sales documents and purchase orders

Assist colleagues and supervisors as needed

Maintain professional relationships with clients and team members

Assist in general warehouse duties: receiving, dispatching, picking, binning, stock counts, and data capturing

Be available for after-hours standby support

Work overtime when required


Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) or ABET Level 4

2–3 years of experience in parts sales

Experience with AS400 and SAP is an advantage

Solid understanding of earthmoving or related parts

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to handle pressure and multitask

Proficient in computer use and confident using the phone

Excellent spoken and written English

Must have a valid Code 8 driver’s license

Presentable with professional behavior and manners
