Unicare 24-Hour Pharmacy in Bassonia is looking for a Health Zone Consultant who is enthusiastic about customer care.
The role reports to the Assistant Floor Manager.
Purpose of the Role
To provide excellent customer service by offering expert advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements—helping customers make informed choices, boosting sales, and building strong customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver proactive, in-store customer service using strong product knowledge of health and supplements.
Offer professional advice on healthcare, nutrition, herbal, and homeopathic remedies.
Drive healthcare sales by cross-selling and upselling across different brands to meet profitability targets.
Recommend products based on customer needs and health concerns.
Maintain stock levels in healthcare aisles, following stock management procedures.
Minimize wastage through proper stock rotation.
Prevent losses by applying risk management policies.
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards for a pleasant shopping environment.
Assist in merchandising by adhering to display guidelines.
Follow store operating procedures consistently.
Stay updated on product knowledge and share information with colleagues.
Work closely with pharmacists and retail teams to deliver top-tier service.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills
Basic understanding of health, fitness, and supplements.
Knowledge of retail operations (stock, merchandising, risk management).
Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills.
Merchandising ability.
Experience
At least 2–3 years’ experience in health, wellness, or a related retail role.
Solid knowledge of supplements, herbal, and natural remedies.
Education
Matric certificate.
Qualification in Natural Health, Nutrition, Naturopathy, or a related field.
