Job Summary
An exclusive executive residence and office in Ilovo, Johannesburg, is seeking a Junior Private Chef to join their household team.
The role involves working under the Head Private Chef to deliver top-quality, health-focused meals while maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Private Chef in preparing and serving daily meals:
Breakfast: 07:00
Lunch: 13:00
Dinner: 19:00
Collaborate with the client’s dietitian to ensure meals meet nutritional requirements.
Maintain high standards of taste, health, and presentation.
Step in to manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
Work Monday to Sunday on a structured shift basis, with flexibility between meal services.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience as a Junior Chef, Sous Chef, or Private Chef in a luxury or high-end setting.
Strong knowledge of healthy cooking methods and nutrition.
Ability to follow dietitian-led meal plans.
Excellent presentation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Valid South African driver’s licence (essential).
Professional, discreet, and highly confidential.
Flexible to work shifts across the week.
Residing in or near Ilovo, Johannesburg (advantageous).
