Salary Scale: R166 800,00 – R200 832,00 per annum
Purpose:
To maintain specific sites and facilities across Tshwane by cutting grass according to required standards and conditions, and performing general maintenance tasks on
developed and undeveloped open spaces, natural resources, and surrounding facilities to enhance environmental quality.
Requirements:
Ability to perform duties
Basic literacy
Ability to read, write and follow machine instructions
Relevant experience operating a brush cutter or lawnmower (advantageous)
Physically fit and healthy, with no back problems
Willing to undergo a criminal record check (fingerprints taken by TMPD at own cost)
Willingness and ability to work shifts

natural outdoor environments
No allergies affecting outdoor work
Ability to perform physical operational and maintenance tasks for long periods
Ability to work under pressure and in teams
Good communication skills
Good technical ability and strong hand–eye coordination

Willingness to accept responsibility
Basic understanding of grass-cutting practices
