Role Overview
As a Learnership Student, you’ll gain hands-on experience across sales and administration functions, while contributing to the success of Cummins.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
Prepare and distribute sales reports to give leadership insight into performance trends.
Ensure accuracy of sales quotes and invoices to maintain compliance and financial integrity.
Deliver excellent customer service, building trust and loyalty.
Interpret sales data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and growth.
Record staff leave and compile monthly HR summaries.
File service job cards with signed proof of delivery (PODs).
Manage consumables and inventory records to prevent shortages and waste.
Track and process product returns, ensuring prompt resolutions.
General Administration
Manage and resolve Purchase Order (PO) requests and queries.
Capture cash and EFT payments from the sales team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Organize boardrooms and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours.
Monitor and manage office supplies.
Keep notice boards updated with HR, safety, and policy information.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Flexibility to work across admin, sales, fleet, and retail functions.
Strong communication skills for clear collaboration with teams and clients.
Qualifications
Education: Matric certificate / NQF Level 4 equivalent (required).
Prior customer service experience is beneficial, but not required.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
