Apprentice Auto Electrician Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Auto Electrician, you will:
- Work as an understudy with a qualified Auto Electrician.
- Utilize opportunities provided to increase your knowledge of the chosen trade.
- Attend technical college courses and other required training.
- Complete examinations and course tests satisfactorily.
- Carry out servicing and repairs efficiently under supervision.
- Assist the qualified Auto Electrician with assigned duties.
- Follow workshop quality, safety and security procedures at all times.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- N1 and above.
- Required subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science and Diesel Trade Theory.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal relations skills.
- A customer-focused and results-driven approach.
- A proactive and highly motivated attitude.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to maintain good customer relations.

Training Opportunity
The apprenticeship combines workplace exposure with formal training. The successful applicant will work alongside a qualified Auto Electrician while attending the required technical college courses or other training.
This can provide practical exposure to servicing, repairs, workshop procedures and the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the Auto Electrician trade.
