About the Role
PPS is seeking a dynamic Member Hub Service Consultant to represent the company’s brand, generate new business opportunities, and strengthen client relationships. The role focuses on sales, client retention, and service excellence within a fast-paced call centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contact prospective and existing clients to set up appointments.
Record feedback and reasons for all generated leads and quotes.
Achieve conversion targets from leads to successful business outcomes.
Handle telephonic sales enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Gather information regarding customer concerns and complaints.
Negotiate renewals and implement retention strategies.
Meet and exceed monthly sales call targets.
Maintain a professional image of PPS in all client interactions.
Manage client queries (telephonic and written) and ensure timely resolution.
Take ownership of service level standards and meet operational targets.
Escalate technical or system issues to relevant support teams promptly.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Grade 12 / Matric
RE5 qualification
Experience:
Bilingual in English and at least one other South African language (verbal and written).
Experience in Outbound Sales, Retentions, or Collections within a Call Centre environment.
Prior experience in back-office processing is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
Understanding of financial institutions, FAIS, and FICA (advantageous).
Strong computer literacy – proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience using telephony systems.
