About the Role
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is seeking a Meteorological Trainer to deliver specialised training in meteorology, with a strong focus on developing weather forecasters and meteorological technicians.
The role involves training new recruits, delivering tailored commercial training programmes, and supporting the continuous professional development of meteorological staff.
Training will extend to weather forecasters, meteorological technicians, and other meteorologists or climatologists in specific areas of competence, as defined by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
