Role Purpose
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at site level, ensuring consistent service standards, compliance with health and safety requirements, and effective team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain work schedules/job cards for all positions on-site.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure high service standards.
Supervise staff presentation, ensuring correct uniform and name badges are worn.
Enforce cleaning methods in line with company policies, quality standards, and legislation.
Manage company assets with monthly spot checks and ensure equipment is serviced and maintained.
Report daily maintenance and safety issues to management.
Motivate and maintain team morale through effective communication.
Respond promptly to management requests and follow up on actions.
Uphold professional health, hygiene, and appearance standards.
Skills & Competencies
Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in a similar environment.
Knowledge of health, hospitality, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Ability to work under pressure, independently, and adapt to different situations.
Willingness to work extended hours, after hours, and some weekends.
Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12 (minimum).
A tertiary qualification will be a strong advantage.
