About the Role
Mintek is offering an exciting internship for a graduate to join their Mine Rehabilitation Programme. This role provides hands-on experience in monitoring site activities, ensuring compliance with project standards and timelines, conducting investigations, and supporting overall project delivery.
You’ll also gain valuable exposure to technical design, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and environmental safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist as Assistant Resident Engineer on mine rehabilitation projects.
Carry out site inspections to check progress against plans and timelines.
Conduct investigations to collect data for designs and reports.
Help prepare technical designs, documents, and progress updates.
Support contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of site activities and technical findings.
Build knowledge and skills in mine rehabilitation and environmental safety.
Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (NQF level 7).
Strong academic performance (minimum 60% average).
