About the Role
As a Motorbike Courier at Ampath, you serve as a vital link between our laboratories and the communities we support. Your main responsibility is to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transport of medical specimens, reports, and parcels — whether by motorbike or vehicle.
This role places you at the heart of our mission to deliver accurate and life-impacting diagnostic services, directly contributing to patient care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport medical specimens, reports, and parcels between laboratories, clients, and healthcare facilities.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
Adhere to safety and infection control procedures at all times.
Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and support teams.
Represent Ampath professionally and courteously during all interactions.
Ensure timely delivery of items while maintaining specimen integrity.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
Valid Code A (Motorbike) driver’s licence.
Minimum of 1 year of general driving experience.
Strong communication skills (read, write, and speak English fluently).
Good understanding of time management and road safety principles.

Able to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
