Key Responsibilities
Collect and handle specimens (blood and non-blood) safely and accurately.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and documentation of specimens.
Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times.
Process payments and handle patient documentation with confidentiality.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and colleagues.
Support seamless patient service through accurate data capture and digital tools.
Represent Ampath with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
Minimum Requirements
Recognised qualification in Phlebotomy or Nursing.
Current registration with the HPCSA or SANC.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Basic computer literacy and comfort using digital systems.
