About the Role
Ster-Kinekor is looking for a Multi-Skilled Employee to join our Cedar Square cinema.
This role involves performing a variety of duties including cashiering at Box Office/Catering Sales or Collections, assisting in cinema operations, serving customers, preparing popcorn, and other tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service at sales and collection points.
Support cinema operations such as ushering, food and beverage preparation, and guest assistance.
Stay informed on Ster-Kinekor products, promotions, and marketing to upsell effectively.
Maintain presentation standards: update posters, age restriction notices, synopsis files, disclaimers, and displays.
Prepare and package products (e.g., popcorn, slushies) according to set standards and report any quality issues.
Assist with shift preparations and maintain stockrooms in line with standards, including fumigation when needed.
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas, counters, equipment, and storerooms.
Submit Health & Safety reports on schedule.
Wear correct uniform and follow preparation standards for safety and company reputation.
Always act professionally and represent Ster-Kinekor positively.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Matric (Grade 12)
Experience: 0–1 year in a similar role
Technical Skills: Basic MS Office knowledge; VISTA system experience is an advantage
