The Role
We’re looking for a Permanent Store Assistant to join our prestigious Carlton Centre store.
As the face of our brand, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a seamless shopping experience, supporting sales, and maintaining the impeccable presentation Spitz is known for.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Cash Control & Accuracy
Manage cash desk transactions with precision to prevent variances.
Handle banking, daily cash processes, and manual transactions.
🔹 Stock Management & Organisation
Execute daily stockroom procedures to keep operations efficient.
Manage and process customer orders with care.
Conduct weekly stock counts and ensure display accuracy.
Assist with shoe pairing and maintain store presentation standards.
🔹 Customer Service & Sales Support
Offer expert styling advice and product knowledge to clients.
Build lasting customer relationships through attentive service.
Represent the brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.
What You’ll Need
Matric / Grade 12 (required)
6–12 months retail experience (luxury or fashion retail preferred)
Passion for high-end fashion, footwear, and customer interaction
Skills & Attributes
Strong numeracy and transaction accuracy
Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to thrive under deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
Team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
