About the Role
Clicks Group is seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified Post Basic) to join the Northcliff Square branch. The successful candidate will provide pharmaceutical care services within their scope of practice, assist with dispensary operations, and ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and pharmaceutical care.
Manage stock effectively, including repacking medication.
Handle daily dispensary administration accurately and efficiently.
Assist with compounding prescriptions and providing health advice.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation.
Perform additional duties as required by operational needs.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics (Essential).
Must meet Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) requirements for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).
Skills and Knowledge
Good understanding of health and OTC products.
Knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ethical conduct.
Team player with integrity and reliability.
Competent in basic calculations, MS Office, and IT business systems.
