About the Role
Clicks Group is looking for a Wellness Assistant to join the Southgate store. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service by offering knowledgeable advice on health, nutrition, and supplements, helping customers make informed choices while promoting sales and building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding customer service through active engagement and visible in-store presence.
Provide expert advice and assistance on health, wellness, and nutritional products.
Promote and sell a wide range of healthcare and supplement products to achieve sales targets.
Ensure shelves are well-stocked and maintained in line with stock management policies.
Minimize product wastage by applying stock rotation procedures.
Prevent losses by adhering to risk management policies and store guidelines.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to create a welcoming store environment.
Follow merchandising standards to ensure products are attractively displayed.
Comply with all store operating procedures and company policies.
Continuously build product knowledge and share information with colleagues and relief staff to ensure consistent customer service.
Knowledge and Skills
Essential:
Basic understanding of retail operations (stock control, merchandising, and risk management).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused approach with solid selling and merchandising abilities.
Desirable:
Knowledge of health, fitness, and supplement products.
Basic computer literacy.
Competencies

Minimum Requirements
Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant retail or sales experience.
Customer service or sales training (essential).
Experience in sports nutrition or vitamin products (advantageous).
Education:
Matric/Grade 12 with:
50% in English, and
50% in Maths or 60% in Maths Literacy, plus a pass in Physical Science or Life Science.
A qualification in Sports, Fitness, or Nutrition will be beneficial.
