ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Quality Assurance Quality Controller role involves checking the quality and safety of raw materials, production processes and finished products.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct analytical, chemical, physical and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
Perform quality checks on production lines, including Brix, CO2, torque, fill height and appearance.
Ensure compliance with Coca-Cola Operating Requirements (KORE) and product specifications.
Monitor key process parameters and intervene when deviations are identified.
Verify that corrective actions are implemented and effective before product release.
Approve or reject product batches based on quality results.
Record test results accurately and timeously in laboratory systems and quality logs.
Compile and analyse quality trend reports and escalate anomalies.
Maintain sample retention and traceability documentation.
Assist with investigations into product and process non-conformances, consumer complaints and foreign matter incidents.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
Escalate unresolved issues to the Quality Manager.
Ensure laboratory instruments are maintained, calibrated and used according to SOPs.
Perform routine equipment checks and liaise with equipment service providers when necessary.
Participate in internal and external audits, including FSSC, KORE and customer audits.
Monitor GMP, hygiene and housekeeping compliance.
Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, including SOPs, work instructions and records.
