About the Role
Our client, a leading water meter manufacturing company in Boksburg, is looking for a temporary Receptionist who is professional, well-presented, and able to provide additional administrative support.
This role will suit someone with at least 1 year of experience in a Reception or Girl Friday role, who is also comfortable handling waybills and assisting with general office tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12.
1+ year experience as a Receptionist or Girl Friday.
Professional telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
Experience with waybills is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties:
Welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer and direct calls promptly.
Keep the reception area neat and presentable.
Receive and sort mail, deliveries, and couriers.
Administrative Support:
Provide clerical support (filing, scanning, photocopying, data entry).
Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
Monitor and order office supplies.
Waybill & Dispatch Support:
Generate and manage waybills for incoming/outgoing shipments.
Liaise with couriers and assist with dispatch documentation.
Ensure accurate shipping records and coordinate with warehouse teams.
