Role Summary

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company.

In this role, you will welcome and direct visitors, manage calls, handle courier services, and provide general office and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front Desk

Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

Manage the switchboard and direct calls promptly and professionally.

Maintain reception area appearance and follow business etiquette.

Handle visitor registers, courier services, deliveries, and messages.

Ensure confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Assist with boardroom bookings and meeting setups.

Administration & Office Support

Manage purchase order book and coordinate office supplies.

Organise office printing areas, shredding services, and stationery control.

Record and track moveable assets.

Assist with filing, archiving, and record keeping.

Liaise with vendors, maintenance, and service providers.

Support events, functions, and special arrangements (e.g., flowers, gift baskets, parking).

Secretarial Support

Provide copy typing and general secretarial assistance.

Source tender documents and assist managers with admin tasks.


Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12.

At least 2 years’ reception experience.

Proficient in MS Office (Word & Excel).

Switchboard experience essential.

Strong data capturing and filing skills.

Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills (written & verbal).

Fluent in English.

Reliable time management and organisational skills.
