About the Role
UD Pretoria East is seeking an experienced Vehicle Stock Controller to manage the ordering, control, and availability of vehicle stock.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, accuracy, and efficiency in handling stock, invoicing, and related administrative duties to support optimal sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Process vehicle invoices accurately and timeously as per authorised purchase offers.

Capture purchase invoices daily.

Manage the process of bringing vehicles into stock and invoicing them out.

Issue purchase orders for reconditioning and fitments, ensuring all payments are linked to valid order numbers.

Submit monthly reports on outstanding orders.

Balance vehicle costing in the internal system with departmental cost sheets.

Ensure all documentation is complete before invoicing.

Report irregularities to the Financial Manager.

Conduct bi-weekly stock takes and update provisions on vehicles in stock.

Maintain updated stock lists with retail prices.

Oversee demo fleet management, including reporting and weekly stock counts.

Handle registration and licensing documents for the used vehicle department.

Collaborate with Sales Executives and Managers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Matric (Grade 12).

Proven experience as a Stock Controller and in invoicing.

Familiarity with β€œDrive” dealership management system (advantageous).

Experience within UD and the motor trade will be advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

Strong computer literacy.

Proficiency in Excel (mandatory).

Ability to multitask effectively.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
