Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 per month (CTC: includes basic, commission, and incentives)

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a driven and well-organized Retail Sales & New Business Development Consultant to join our Kyalami head office team.

This fast-paced role suits someone who excels in sales, enjoys finding new opportunities, and has experience in managing retail accounts.

The role focuses on both growing sales in current stores and securing new business, playing a key role in expanding our national retail presence and strengthening customer relationships.


Key Duties:

New Business Development

Identify and onboard new retail store partners.

Deliver persuasive business proposals to retail decision-makers.

Negotiate terms with new clients and oversee store activations.

Prioritize VIP accounts and new product placements.

Drive strategic growth through targeted expansion.

Account & Sales Management

Develop strong ties with store managers and head office buyers.

Increase sales in current stores by optimizing relationships.

Monitor sales data and provide insights for improvement.

Set and manage sales targets, using performance data and forecasting.

Work with internal teams on pricing, stock levels, and promotions.

Keep accurate store visit records and call cycles.

Retail Operations & Merchandising

Visit retail outlets on a scheduled basis.

Ensure appealing and effective product displays.

Capture and process store orders.

Present new products to store managers and secure listings.

Coordinate with merchandisers and retail operations staff.


Requirements:

Experience in retail sales and/or business development.

Self-starter with a proactive, target-driven approach.

Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong data analysis and forecasting capabilities.

Proficient in Excel, CRM systems, and general IT tools.

Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Skilled in creating presentations (PowerPoint/Adobe).

Must have own transport and a valid driver’s license.

Willing and able to travel nationally (including quarterly Cape Town visits).

Merchandising experience and managing field sales teams is a plus.
