About the Role
Motus Corporation is seeking Roadside Assistance Agents who can help stranded clients quickly and professionally. Your goal is to get customers safely off the road and coordinate support — whether that’s a tow, tyre change, locksmith, fuel delivery, or jump start.
You’ll work in a fast-paced call centre environment, diagnosing vehicle issues over the phone and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound (Passenger Vehicles):
Receive and identify incoming calls (Hyundai, Kia, Tata, etc.)
Gather client details (VIN, registration, colour, mileage, contact info)
Log breakdown details on the system
Arrange a service provider and confirm ETA with the client
Outbound (Passenger Vehicles):
Contact the nearest service provider or dealership
Obtain and confirm the delay time
Share details and reference number with the client
Follow up to ensure successful service and close the case
Commercial Vehicles:
Handle international breakdown calls
Verify client details with the dealership and driver
Coordinate assistance and confirm job completion
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
1–2 years Roadside Assistance or call centre experience (inbound/outbound)
Excellent communication and telephone skills
Strong time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be fluent in English (additional languages advantageous)
Must have own reliable transport
Clear criminal and credit record
Willing to work shifts, including night shifts
Preferred Experience
Previous work in the motor industry or roadside call centre
Proven track record in customer service excellence
Confident, energetic, and able to stay calm under pressure
