Purpose of the Role
The position is responsible for delivering effective credit control services by accurately and efficiently processing transactions in line with standard operating procedures.
The role reports directly to the Financial Manager and will primarily support the Lindsay Saker Fourways branch.
Key Responsibilities
Collect outstanding debt for the dealership.
Capture accurate information on the OEM operating system (Drive).
Maintain regular communication with debtors to ensure timeous collection of outstanding amounts.
Attend weekly meetings with the dealer to monitor progress and performance.
Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments.
Ensure all outstanding debtors at month-end are collected within the following month.
Reconcile supplier statements against payments and the supplier ledger.
Manage full creditors’ function.
Monitor and reduce debtors outstanding for over 60 days.
Ensure all customers have valid credit applications.
Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 (Matric).
Computer literacy (experience with Drive system advantageous).
Valid driver’s license.
At least 3 years’ experience in creditors management.
Financial background is required.
