Minimum Requirements
A Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related NQF Level 7 qualification.
3β5 yearsβ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume administrative environment.
A Management Development certificate will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Divisional Head and senior management team.
Manage executive-level administrative functions, including schedules, correspondence, and document coordination.
Organize and coordinate internal meetings, briefings, and divisional events.
Track and manage executive correspondence and ensure timely responses to action items.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of all divisional submissions to reduce audit risks.
Prepare and review HR and financial documents for compliance with policy standards.
Consolidate and coordinate performance reports, audit documents, and council submissions.
Support the Parks and Cemeteries division with compliance, performance, and reporting requirements.
Maintain consistency in HR, finance, and administrative processes across all units.
Manage the Divisional Headβs calendar and coordinate participation in key meetings.
Handle councillor queries, public complaints, and audit-related communications.
Keep detailed logs of all incoming and outgoing correspondence in a centralized register.
Record and monitor SMT meeting decisions, ensuring follow-up and accountability.
Strengthen internal coordination and communication within the division.
