Ackermans Soweto Bara is hiring a dynamic P27 Shop Assistant/Cashier to support the team during peak trade.
The role is focused on creating a great shopping experience by handling stock, maintaining displays, ensuring store cleanliness, and efficiently processing transactions at the till.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Help customers find products
Assist with queries and complaints
Till Operations
Handle cash/card payments, Lay-Bys, and refunds
Report discrepancies and ensure tills balance
Merchandising
Ensure pricing and displays are correct
Restock shelves and maintain promotional areas
Keep the store clean and tidy
Loss Prevention & Risk
Tag items according to company policy
Take part in stock counts
Watch for suspicious activity and report incidents
