About the Role
AECI Mining is looking for a Warehouse Operator & Driver to help manage engineering spare parts through timely receiving, storing, picking, issuing, and delivering items locally, cross-border, and to various units.
The role includes general warehouse duties, driving responsibilities, and maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and verify the correct quantity of incoming parts
Offload goods and move them into the storage area
Pick and assemble items according to pick lists or reservations
Operate a forklift as needed
Transport goods between company sites and storage magazines
Deliver or collect spare parts from various locations
Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functional
Report faulty equipment to the team leader
Support overall warehouse operations and assist team members
Adhere to safety, health, and environmental protocols
Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean and organized
Follow company policies, procedures, and systems
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
Valid Code 10 driver’s license
Minimum 3 years of experience in storekeeping/material handling
Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Able to perform simple calculations
